The Apostles’ Fast

The Apostles’ Fast commemorates the ministry and sacrifice of the holy Apostles. This season calls the Church to prayer, fasting, service, and a renewed life with Christ.
It is among the oldest fasts of the Church and prepares us to carry the Gospel with humility and courage.

The Strong
St. Moses the Strong exchanged a life of violence for repentance, prayer, and monastic discipline. His story remains a powerful witness that no person is beyond the transforming mercy of God.
Through humility and love he became a guide to many and one of the beloved saints of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
